Invitation to 1st KoMSO Academy

It is our pleasure to cordially invite you to the first "KoMSO Academy: Combining model- and data-based approaches for industrial problems" on September 14 to 16, 2021 in Bremen. The event is jointly hosted by the Center for Industrial Mathematics (ZeTeM) and the Committee for Mathematical Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization (KoMSO).

The KoMSO Academy is a new format combining our well-known Challenge Workshops with hands-on training courses. Focus of this Challenge Workshop will be on the combination of model- and data-based approaches for solving industrial problems within the fields of "Energy" and "Mobility".

More information and the possibility to register can be found at <https://www.uni-bremen.de/techmath/veranstaltungen/2021-komso-academy>. We hope to see you in Bremen!

News & miscellaneous

First SRA of EU-MATHS-IN available online

The first Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) of EU-MATHS-IN is available online. The SRA is a critical document to be updated regularly to foster the discussions with the European Commission. More information can be found at <https://eu-maths-in.eu/strategic-research-agenda-sra/>.

"Mathematics in Industry Reports" available online

Supported by ECMI, Cambridge University Press now hosts and organizes reports from Study Groups with Industry. This is an on-line repository of reports from study groups around the world. Mathematics in Industry Reports (MIIR) provide visibility for early stage research in industrially relevant mathematics. More information can be found at <https://www.cambridge.org/engage/miir/public-dashboard>.
