The Challenge Workshop "Mathematical Modeling, Simulation and Optimization in the Pharmaceutical Industry" will take place at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Scientific Computing (IWR, www.iwr.uni-heidelberg.de) on 14 and 15 June 2018 as part of the activities accompanying the BMBF's funding priority "Mathematics for Innovations". The workshop is part of the network activities of the BMBF-funded project MOReNet.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts from the pharmaceutical industry and academia to find out what needs can be met by existing mathematical methods and to identify new challenges that require the development of new techniques for sustainable progress in the pharmaceutical industry over the next ten to twenty years.

We cordially invite you to make your contribution to this two-day workshop through presentations and participation in plenary discussions.
